The Revd Dr Scott Peddie is Minister of The Old Presbyterian Church, Templepatrick. Dr Peddie has worked for a number of years in management and research positions within the Scottish, Norwegian, Irish and New Zealand aquaculture industries and has also spent some time working as an animal health economist. For the last six years he has run a consultancy, training and publishing business with his wife Fiona, in addition to fulfilling his ministerial duties in Templepatrick and Crumlin.
Dr Peddie’s undergraduate and doctoral degrees are in Marine Biology and he also has master’s degrees in business management and theology. He is a member of the Society of Ordained Scientists (SOSc), the Thomas Merton Society and am a postulant in the Order of Ecumenical Franciscans (OEF). He edits the bulletin for the Society of Ordained Scientists, as well as serving as the Chair of Church Action on Poverty, Northern Ireland.
