Nigel Cameron, President of the Center for Policy on Emerging Technologies (C-PET), an independent think tank in Washington, DC, is also Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Science and Society at the University of Ottawa. He was previously a Research Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), and Director of the IIT Center on Nanotechnology and Society.
 
Professor Cameron has written extensively on the impacts of technology on ethics and policy, in both religious and secular contexts, including the essay on Christianity in Bioethics for the 5-volume Encyclopedia of Bioethics, The New Medicine, and Nanoscale. His next book addresses the impact of robotics on the future of employment.
