Douglas Leckie read History at Oxford, and then taught for eight years at secondary level – first History, and latterly Religion and Philosophy. He completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Religious Studies in 2004. His joining the Faraday Institute in 2010 was preceded by a Diploma in Theology at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, with specialisations in the theology of art and the history of education.
