Tobias Stripp is a medical doctor doing public health research concerning the interactions between religion, spirituality, existential constructs, and health. To study this, he uses large survey samples coupled with detailed national Danish register data. Since May 2020, Tobias has been engaged as a PhD student at the University of Southern Denmark under Professor dr.theol. Niels Christian Hvidt. He is also researching near-death experiences. In addition, Tobias lectures and teaches medical students on general practice of medicine and philosophy of science and bioethics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Copenhagen, after which he did his internship and got his license to practice medicine. He is a highly motivated researcher and clinician with a deepfelt sense of purpose in his work.
