April 23, 2021 - April 24, 2021

Dr Denis Alexander, Dr Ruth Valerio, Dr David Randall

If you’re a Church leader, a Christian working in a science-related profession, or a Christian with a strong interest in learning how to approach scientific questions through biblical lenses, then this event is especially for you!

This short course will be run in partnership with Keswick Ministries, in their beautiful Lake District location. We hope this will be an in-person event, with speakers delivering their talks remotely but discussion led in person by Ruth Bancewicz, but that will depend on government guidelines at the time

The aim is to equip Christians to be able to engage faithfully with challenging ethical and scientific questions.

The conference will cover three key topics including:

  • Dr Denis Alexander, Science and Faith: An Introduction
  • Dr Ruth Valerio, Is Caring for Creation Part of the Gospel Mandate?
  • Dr David Randall, Human Identity: A Biblical perspective on medical ethics

The sessions will encourage you in your walk with the Lord, and will give you greater confidence in understanding and speaking into some of the most critical questions of our day.

There will also be a chance to engage with one another, and – if you can make it to the Lake District and it is safe and legal to attend in person – to get out in the beautiful countryside surrounding Keswick too.
